Hm...

The lookbook pictures from H&M for Versace was launched this week, featuring a beautiful Abbey Lee. Bold, colourful prints juxtaposes bodycon dresses, gold details and studs (very Donatella). Photographed by Kacper Kasprzyk.

Ida Sjöstedt

While preparing for a fashion shoot a few weeks ago I had some pieces from designer Ida Sjöstedt in the studio, including a cape decorated with crystals that was more beautiful than anything I have seen before. It didn't get used in the end for this particular shoot but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it ever since our first meeting. And today Ida was on Swedish TV showing her autumn collection, and there is was again. Love at second sight!

And while on the subject of Ida Sjöstedt. I tried on these black lace trousers a few weeks ago, unfortunately my legs were too long, or the trousers too short. But I believe on the right person they would look a million.

Carin Wester for Urban Outfitters

Swedish designer Carin Wester has done a collaboration with gigant Urban Outfitters, and after visiting the store in Stockholm today I have to say I am very impressed. Already a big fan of her design I feel she has managed to capture her simplicity and beautiful patterns in the collection that goes under the name 'The Lullaby'. My favourites were without a doubt the wideleg trousers that came in both black (of course) and a very nice shade of bottle green. The sheer dress in the same colour could also easily move into my autumn wardrobe.

The celeb hype not so hot

There has been a lot of international celebrities/designers/bloggers designing for Swedish highstreet brands such as Indiska (Jade Jagger), Rachel Zoe (Lindex), Reese Witherspoon (Lindex; she is only fronting the collection, but pretty sure her celebrity impact/status is selling the clothes) and now Whitney Port for BikBok. After viewing the latest pieces of celebrity gear I have to say it is looking very bland. Seeing this I am actually getting very excited to see what Versace will bring to H&M.
